Melissa M. Macejko is a partner with the firm. She focuses her practice on the areas of bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency. Melissa represents all constituencies in commercial and consumer cases, including creditors, debtors, committees and trustees. Melissa also works on the sale and acquisition of financially distressed companies, business reorganizations/restructuring, creditor workouts, receiverships, secured transactions, counsel for business formations and organizations, business services, commercial law, all real estate matters and general civil litigation.Melissa has been a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of Ohio since November 2019. She also serves as a Magistrate for the Struthers Municipal Court.

Melissa is a speaker in her areas of practice and provides continuing education to attorneys and industry audiences. She was selected as a 2009 Ohio Rising Star by Law and Politics Magazine in the area of Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights. Lawyers named as Rising Stars are chosen by their peers as being among the top up-and-coming lawyers in Ohio. They are amongst the top 2.5 percent of attorneys.
